The point of fashion is to protect you . But that can mean different things , it can be used to boost confidence or to protect you from being an outsider . Fashion is something we deal with everyday .

Fashion plays a major role in our society and affects the social aspects of the society. Fashion is a way to display our personalities . It also displays the feelings and moods of a person, and reflects on who they are and why they choose to wear clothes based on their personal tastes.

There are positives and negatives on how society views fashion. Many researches states that fashion is actually harmful to the society and it impacts people greatly in their everyday life.

The collections are often based on the designs presented at fashion week events . Fast fashion allows mainstream consumers to purchase trendy clothing at an affordable price . Fast fashion brought in humungous production of clothes and a great part of it is ending up in landfills. 

MASS MARKET :

It is the market for goods produced on a large scale for a significant numbers of end consumers. It refers to a large undifferentiated market of consumers with widely varied backgrounds . Products and services needed by almost every member of a society are suited for mass market . 

MINDLESS CONSUMERISM :

Mindless consumerism happens when you don't think about the story of your stuff. Start thinking about the story before buying, and if the story makes you uncomfortable, keep searching for something with a better story. Mindless consumerism is the type pf consumption which is much more related to needs than wants .
