THE BEGINNING

I've begun with a new journey as I have started with my course(PGFD).

Introduction with the faculty went amazing and all the sessions were very interact.ive and informative.  

This BLOG is about a particular module - SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY ; it explains about a holistic understanding of sustainable , responsible and ethical processes and aspirations that leads to actionable change  

                                                                         SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY is an ethical theory in which individuals are accountable for fulfilling their civic duty and the actions of an individual must benefit the whole society .

 key points 

1. Cultural Diversity :  It is about appreciating that society is made up of many different groups with different interests , skills , talents and needs. It also means the quality of diverse or different cultures , as opposed to monoculture , the global monoculture , or a homogenization of culture , akin to cultural decay .

                             

2. Society : The aggregate of people living together in a more or less ordered community or it is a group of people involved with each other through persistent relations . It is also a large social grouping sharing the same geographical or social territory , typically subject to the same political authority and dominant cultural expectations .

3. Experiences : Refers to encountering situations , conditions etc , in life or to having certain certain sensations or feelings .

4. Values : Values are the motive behind purposeful action .Personal values are personal beliefs about right and wrong , may or may not be considered moral .

5. Ethics ( creational laws of nature ) : Moral principles that govern a person's behavior or the conducting of an activity or it is the branch of knowledge that deals with moral principles .

SOCIAL STRUCTURE

It is the distinctive and stable arrangement of institutions whereby human beings in a society interact and live together . Social structure include family , religion , law , economy and class .

INDIVIDUALITY-

BABA - Overpowering yet fun loving

DADI - young at heart ( no say in family decisions )

PAPA - Smart and enthusiastic ( has the ultimate decision making power )

MUMMY  - Dominant by nature ( strong stands )

DIDI - Reliable ( has a say in every decision )

ME - Fun loving ( part of every decision )

 The above example defines a social structure where every one is an essential part of the family but the ultimate decision power is in the hands of earning members .
